I’ve been a member of NATP, The National Association of Tax Professionals since 2020. Some will try to diminish paid memberships in associations as “pay to play”. I see it as an asset with tremendous value! I have access to wonderful resources such as highly qualified tax professionals with many decades of experience to draw from. They also provide research assistance for new situations and many online IRS accredited classes. I complete annual training for CE credits required by the IRS to retain my AFSP credential. Not all tax professionals are created or stay equal. I am reaping the benefits of being involved and staying current for my clients.
