Did you receive a small deposit from the IRS this week (in the amount of $10-$20)? It wasn’t a mistake! The IRS has issued a one-time payment of interested accrued on tax refunds that were delayed due to Covid-19‼️

PLEASE SHARE - SCAM ALERT: If a "bank" calls you to tell you someone has signed and deposited YOUR tax return OR stimulus check, DO NOT VERIFY your account number or information with them. HANG UP and call YOUR BANK (or "the bank" that called you) directly and then call the IRS (but good luck getting in touch with anyone). People ARE stealing checks so it COULD be true BUT people ARE ALSO scamming people to get account information. Don't trust calls that come IN to you. Call your local branch to verify.

Got questions about the Stimulus Payments?

What happens if I haven't filed my taxes yet?
If you haven't filed your taxes yet we can help you file virtually or with a one-on-one appointment so your current deposit information will be on file. We are also waiting on information from the IRS on a portal they will be launching where you can give them your updated information.

Where does my check go if I already filed my taxes this year?
Your Stimulus Payment will be deposited the same way your tax return was. If you got direct deposit then you will get your payment via direct deposit. We are still waiting on a final decision from the IRS on how they are depositing payments to those who recieved advances since those payments went to a business account first to pay back the advance. I would suggest using the portal to provide direct deposit information as soon as that comes available.
If you got a paper check and want a paper check for your Stimulus Payment then you won't need to do anything but be aware that the checks will be the last to be issued and you should not expect your check to arrive any time soon.
