You MUST file if you have an open account, even if you have no miles to report!

📧 Important Reminder: Update Your IRP Registration Email & Address! 📍

Have you recently updated your email and physical address with the Illinois Secretary of State (IRP Section) on your IRP registration?

Keeping your contact information up to date with the Illinois Secretary of State is critical!

⚠️ Why This Matters:
• Illinois Secretary of State no longer mails IRP license plate renewal notices—they now send renewal notices via email, typically in early December.
• If your address is outdated and the Illinois Secretary of State sends you a letter which is returned due to your outdated address, your IRP account may be temporarily suspended until your details are updated.
• Updating your corporation address does NOT automatically update your IRP registration address, even though both are managed by the Illinois Secretary of State.

IRP Address/Email Update

Have you updated your address and email with the Illinois Secretary of State (IRP Section)?

IMPORTANT - You need to update your email with the IL Secretary of State before IRP renewal emails are sent in the beginning of December!

IRP (Apportioned Truck License Plate registration) address/email update:

It is very important that the Illinois Secretary of State (IRP Section) has your current home/business address and email!!!

If at any time, the Illinois Secretary of State sends you a letter, and the letter gets returned to them, you IRP account will be temporary suspended until the address has been updated!

The Illinois Secretary of State will no longer mail IRP license plate renewal notices. Instead the notices will now be emailed to you. Therefore, it is very important that the Illinois Secretary of State (IRP Section) has a valid email address where they can send you the renewal notice! Renewal notices are usually emailed in the beginning of December. Make sure your email is updated before that!

🚛 New Mexico Weight Distance Permits – 2027 Renewal Reminder! 🚛

If your trucks travel through New Mexico, it’s time to renew your permits for the upcoming year!

📅 2027 NM Permits Are Now Available:
• You must renew by December 31, 2026; to stay compliant
• These permits are required for each vehicle operating in New Mexico

💵 Permit Fee:
• $10.00 per vehicle per year

🛑 No Grace Period!
All NM Weight Distance permits must be renewed before January 1, 2027 — there is no extension or grace period for late renewals.

🚛 2027 IFTA Annual Renewal Instructions – What You Need to Know! 🚛

This is your official reminder to renew your IFTA registration before the deadline.

📅 Why You’re Getting This Reminder:
Your 2026 IFTA registration expires on December 31, 2026. You must take action before the year ends to stay compliant in 2027.

📝 What You Need to Do:
• Still travel outside your home state? You MUST renew your IFTA registration by December 31, 2026
• Only operate in-state now? You are not required to renew

🚨 Important: 2026 IFTA decals expire on December 31, 2026
• If you haven’t renewed for 2027 yet — do it ASAP
• Operating on expired IFTA credentials after December 31st may result in penalties or suspension

⚠️ Failure to Renew = License Suspension
If you don’t renew or cancel your license during the renewal period, your IFTA license will be automatically suspended, and you are not legally authorized to operate under IFTA.

🛑 No Longer Operating as an IFTA Carrier?
You must cancel your IFTA license when filing your Q4 2026 IFTA return: • Check the "Cancel Fuel License" box on the return
• Enter a cancellation date between October 1 – December 31
• Already filed your Q4 return without canceling? You’ll need to amend the return to cancel properly

✅ Don’t wait — take care of your IFTA renewal or cancellation before the end of the year to avoid enforcement issues.
