Today, twenty-five years later, we pause to remember the innocent lives lost on September 11 and to honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call that day.
We also remember the thousands who were injured and those who, in the years that followed, became seriously ill from exposure to toxins at Ground Zero—many ultimately losing their lives as a result.
Although a quarter century has passed, the memories, sacrifices, and lasting impact of September 11 remain. That day forever changed our nation and countless families, communities, and lives.
Today, we stand together in remembrance and gratitude—honoring those we lost, those who served, those who survived, and all who continue to carry the impact of that day.
We will never forget.
