FYI…

On Monday next week, we are closing the Waterfront Public Boat Ramp (in Grant) for several months so we can provide you with some MAJOR facility upgrades, including a parking lot expansion (to accommodate more than 80 truck and trailer rigs), a new four lane launching slab, and a new floating access pier.

Congratulations to DeWayne Fowler for getting the W on Lake Guntersville on Saturday July 11, 2026. DeWayne weighed 21.43 pounds of G’ville bass anchored by a 6.84 pound tournament big bass.

G’ville Anglers,

Please join us for the ABA AFT D29 Alabama North bass tournament taking place this Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Goosepond Marina ramp, hosted by GTO Tackle & Grill. Registration will occur under the pavilion next to the restaurant between 3:30 am - 04:45 am. A mandatory safety meeting will be held shortly before the boat launch at around 5:00 am (safe light). The weigh-in will begin at 3:00 pm under the pavilion next to the store.

The tournament entry fee is $70. Anglers also have the option to participate in the big bass and option pot for $10 each. Option pot pays 1 out of 10. ABA membership, which allows participation in any ABA trail or division, is $50 for both new and renewing members.

Fish care is extremely important this time of the year, do everything you can for the G’ville bass that you catch. Have a great week and see everyone on Saturday!
