Emerald Consulting and Financial Services is a full-service accounting advisory firm located in Atlanta, GA offering a wide range of services for small, medium, and large business owners.
We are looking to hire a part-time, with future opportunity for full-time, bookkeeping professional that has at least 2-4 years’ experience in an accounting setting.

It is vital for this candidate to have experience in handling the accounting and books for various clients at any given time. Providing the highest level of service and oversight to our clients is the foundation of our firm. Experience with Quickbooks online, Excel, and other accounting systems is a must. This is a remote position with minimum travel requirements dependent upon client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Must be able to maintain and update financial records for a variety of clients on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Experience in reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Proficient in generating and interpreting financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-directing and able to work independently to meet deadlines
• Able to maintain confidential information
• Provide mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at a time
• Supports team efforts by completing related tasks as needed, including ad hoc projects, to align with business growth.
Education:
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
• 2-4 years of comprehensive bookkeeping and financial reporting preferred
• 2-4 years’ experience with QuickBooks online, Excel, and other accounting systems
