The IRS officially opens January 27, 2025 to begin accepting e-filed returns 🗓️

✅ Reality: Early filing doesn’t guarantee a faster refund. Timing depends on IRS processing, credits claimed (EITC/CTC), and—most importantly—accuracy.

❌ Myth #2: “Refunds go out the same day e-file opens.”
✅ Reality: The IRS accepts returns first, then processes them. Most refunds start arriving 1–3 weeks after opening day.

❌ Myth #3: “I should file ASAP—even if I’m missing documents.”
