The GOALS you establish for the 3rd quarter and also for the rest of 2026 need to be:

1. Specific – What exactly are you trying to accomplish? “Increase sales” is not specific.

2. Measurable – What numbers are attached to your goal so you can easily track if you’re hitting it or not?

3. Attainable – Only set goals that are possible to achieve.

4. Relevant – Your goals need to make sense for your business and what you’re trying to accomplish.

5. Time-bound – Set deadlines to keep you moving.

This clarity will guide your planning and help you stay focused on what matters most.

One Tip: Don't Wait for "The Perfect Time."

One thing I've learned after years of working with business owners is this:

There will always be another busy season.

Another deadline.

Another reason to wait.

I often hear things like:
"I'll get to it after this quarter."
"I want to clean up my books first."
"Things will slow down eventually."

The reality?

Better visibility usually helps because you're busy.

It makes it easier to spot trends, monitor performance, and make decisions without spending hours digging through reports.

You don't need everything to be perfect before you start improving how you manage your business.

You just need a starting point.
