Leslie Taylor We help small businesses manage their numbers into profitability

They danced. They celebrated. They GRADUATED.

Recently we celebrated 24 incredible Black women entrepreneurs who crossed the stage as Wealth CreateHers Cohort 2 graduates—and the energy was UNMATCHED.

Each woman got her own song (DJ Bless understood the assignment), danced her way up, grabbed her certificate, and claimed her moment.

Some could barely stand still for the photo because the JOY was too real.

This journey wasn’t easy. It required:

✅Showing up consistently
✅Getting real about their numbers
✅Making tough decisions with clarity
✅Building financial literacy that LASTS

And they did ALL of that.

Special thank you to:

🔹All of our subject matter experts who showed up each week to teach, guide, and empower
🔹Mary Greene, MBA and The Prudential Company for championing Black women entrepreneurs—and for sponsoring the event
🔹Amb. Dr. Renee Knorr, our keynote speaker, for inspiring us to “faith it until we make it”
🔹DJ Bless for bringing the soundtrack that turned graduation into a dance party celebration
🔹Rose Lee for capturing every moment at every in-person event
🔹Chef Sean for the food (always delicious)
🔹The and the Women’s League for holding this space

To Cohort 2: You did this for YOU. And we couldn’t be more proud.

This is what wealth-building looks like. Not always glamorous, but always intentional.

Who’s ready for Cohort 3? 👀

“I was almost ready to shut everything down.”

That’s what this real estate client said before working with us.

She had been making decisions based on bad data — and didn’t even know it.

Fast forward to working with us…

✅ She can log into QuickBooks and know exactly where the business stands
✅ She can tell — down to the property — what’s profitable and what’s dragging the business
✅ She’s traded “working harder” for working smarter — with clarity and control

If your books are messy, outdated, or you’re making decisions on guesswork — let’s change that.

Because your business deserves better.

Facebook family. This program kicked off in October.

The Atlanta Black Chambers Women’s League is doing a new thing!

Wealth CreateHers is an 8-week cohort program designed to empower and equip Black Women to build, protect, and grow wealth.

The very first cohort kicked off this past Saturday. A big thank you to one of our program partners, First Citizens Bank, in Vinings, for donating the use of their lovely space.

Participants had to apply to be considered. The select group of 25 ABC women (membership has its privileges) will attend weekly virtual workshops on wealth management, investing, estate planning and reading business financial statements like a a CEO (because most are entrepreneurs).

We’ve also built an in-person component to allow everyone a chance to build their network among like-minded women and fellow business owners.

I’ll continue to share as we embark on this journey alongside these ladies.

Special shoutout to Sheena Robinson, my other half of the program management duo, and the Women’s League Program Team Michelle Glover and Tina Greer ❤️.

Thank you to Nia Jackson at First Citizens Bank for granting us the space for our Kick-Off and Keith Hardy (First Citizens) for doing everything from tech support to greeting and shuttling participants.

I want to honor and celebrate all the amazing moms out there who work tirelessly every day to make a difference in the lives of their children and families.

Mothers are the unsung heroes of our society, juggling multiple roles as caretakers, educators, counselors, and much more. They do all that and still offer unwavering love and support, even in the toughest of times.

Before I became a mom, I knew mom-life could be a lot. But once I became a member of that club, I was able to see how much the occasional difficulty and sacrifice were more than worth the reward.

While this post is about all moms, I give special recognition to my entrepreneur moms. We do it for us, and we do it for them!

Thank you, Moms! You deserve all the dinners, and desserts, and hugs, and kisses - all the love you can handle today!
