In recognition of National Military Appreciation Month, OpenArc was proud to honor the colleagues, clients, family members, and friends who have answered the call to serve.

Our commemoration included a Military Appreciation Month luncheon that brought together colleagues, clients, and families to recognize and celebrate those who have served.

We were especially honored to recognize members of the OpenArc family who have served, including Kevin Higginbotham (U.S. Marine Corps), Chad Pigg Fife, Robert Heightchew III, Mark Adkins, and Marques Posey (U.S. Army), whose experiences reflect the leadership, discipline, and commitment that continue to shape our firm.

As part of the celebration, we shared a video montage highlighting the military stories of our extended OpenArc community—spanning generations from World War II to today and underscoring the enduring legacy of service and sacrifice.

In a defining act of selfless service, Pfc. James Anderson Jr. sacrificed his life to protect his fellow Marines, smothering a gr***de during a firefight in Vietnam. He was posthumously awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his extraordinary bravery. The people of OpenArc honor heroes like Pfc. Anderson who gave their lives in service to our country. May their courage continue to inspire us and their sacrifice remind us of the true meaning of Memorial Day.
