🚨SCAM ALERT - We received one of these forms in the mail today for a company that James is registered agent for.

This is a completely fake form styled in the format of an IRS form purporting to be from the government and is seeking information regarding beneficial owner information (BOI) reporting.

The scammer (named “Annual Records Service”) is looking for personal information for the owners of small businesses and will not actually file a Beneficial Information Report for your company.

Beneficial ownership information reporting is required and in effect for businesses as of 02/19/2025 and James will glady file your company’s report with FinCen.
