For clients who claimed the **Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), below is the expected refund progression based on current IRS processing patterns:

📅 **PATH Act Hold Lifts:** February 17
💰 **Code 846 (Refund Issued):** February 18 – February 20
🔎 **“Where’s My Refund?” Updates:** February 21

🏦 **Early Deposit / Online Banks:** February 18 – February 20
🏦 **Traditional Banks (Chase, Wells Fargo, etc.):** February 23 – February 25

📌 **Official IRS “Refund By” Date:** **March 2, 2026**

The **PATH Act hold is officially LIFTED** for folks who claimed:

✔️ Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
✔️ Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)

According to the **Internal Revenue Service**, many refunds are projected to hit by March 2**, with **deposits starting as early as next week** 💰

*Some people get lucky and see it sooner… but let’s be clear — NOTHING is guaranteed.*

⚠️ **Important reality check**
❌ No refunds are dropping today
❌ Filing in January does **NOT** mean you’re first
❌ Early filing does **NOT** lock in a deposit date
