Riverland Community College is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team in Albert Lea. From building maintenance and repairs to keeping campus spaces clean and functional, you'll play an important role in creating a great experience for our students, employees, and visitors.

Location: Albert Lea, MN
Schedule: Full-time
Monday-Thursday, 1:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Friday, 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

Pay: $20.87-$25.88 per hour

We’re cruising back to 1979 at the Austin Area Vocational Technical School, where the Automotive program was keeping the engines of the ‘70s running strong. 🚗🔧

Think classic chrome, big-body cars, and maybe a few vehicles that looked like they rolled straight out of Starsky & Hutch. Students learned the skills needed to keep those rides on the road—tuning carburetors, diagnosing issues, and working hands-on with the vehicles of the era.

What an awesome alum moment! 💙🙌

This photo represents something very significant. This is Karla, one of my instructors and the coordinator of the Massage Therapist Program at Riverland Community College in Austin, MN, where I trained as a Professional in the field. She visited me today and had a Massage from me—something she had mentioned She would do back when I was her student afther i shared my idea of ​​starting my own business here in Preston, MN.
I will remember this day as a very special one. Thank you. I couldn't have made a better choice; I am fortunate that my Instructors are Professionals with extensive experience and a truly human approach.
If anyone reading this knows someone who would like to become a Massage Therapist, the Program still has a few openings for Fall 2026.
