If you have clients born in 1959 or earlier, understanding required minimum distributions (RMDs) is key to ensuring compliance and avoiding penalties.

📌 Here’s what you need to know:
🔹 Born before July 1, 1949 → RMDs started at 70½
🔹 Born 1950 → Start at 72
🔹 Born 1951-1959 → Start at 73
🔹 Born 1960 or later → Start at 75
