Income Tax & Accounting Office has an immediate opening for a full-time qualified Office Assistant/Bookkeeper. Ideal candidate shall be motivated, reliable, organized and professional. Applicants must have excellent oral and written English communication skills, be courteous, the ability to prioritize tasks per deadlines, be focused in completing work accurately and efficiently, and posses a minimum of 2 years QuickBooks experience.
We are federally compliant in requiring all staff be COVID-19 VACCINATED.
Must have:
*Ability to work Monday - Friday, and every-other-Saturday from Feb 1st - April 15th
*Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
*A minimum of 2 years general office experience
*A minimum of 2 years QuickBooks software experience
*Knowledge of basic accounting principles
*Be reliable, dependable & punctual
*Possess a Valid CA Driver’s License with reliable Transportation and auto insurance
*Have operational mobile Telephone
*Be computer & internet literate, with familiarity in Word & Excel
* Strong interpersonal Telephone and Email skills
Job Duties
*Answer telephones
*Schedule appointments, meet & greet clients
*Perform general clerical duties of typing, photocopying, filing, 10-key operation, faxing, etc.
*Handling of Accounts Receivable: *Invoicing, POS System, Cash, Check & Credit Cards
*QuickBooks data entry, bank & credit card reconciliations
*Preparation of payrolls with federal & state tax depositing
*Errands
*Maintain office supply inventory & place orders as needed
*Assist other staff members as deemed appropriate and necessary
*Possess a willingness to learn new tasks
Preferred (but not required)
*Bilingual
*CA Notary
*Income Tax Experience
