Self-employeds: While the IRS gave you a 3 month extension to file your tax returns - July 15 - the sooner you file, the sooner you'll get your relief funds.

The Paycheck Protection Program opened to independent contractors and self-employed people on April 10. You'll need Schedule C from your 2019 tax return to apply.

The best result at the end of tax season is to OWE $1 in my opinion. Don't give the government an interest free loan on your money, that's a flawed savings plan.

If I had to rank tax forms from worst to best, the W-4 would take the top spot. The worst part of any new job is when you fill out that sheaf of paperwork on your first day, and you know you save the W-4 until last because you’re just not sure what to do with it.
