Retirement isn't just about having enough to retire. It's about having something meaningful to retire to.
For years, so much of life can be structure around the routine of work & responsibilities. However, retirement changes that rhythm - and suddenly, the question becomes bigger than "Do I have enough?"
It becomes:
What brings my fulfillment?
What energizes me?
How do I want to spend my time?
What do I still want to contribute?
The Japanese concept of ikigai invites us to think about the things that give our lives meaning and purpose.
Because a thoughtful retirement plan shouldn't only prepare your finances for the next chapter. It should give you the freedom to actually live it.
So, what are you retiring to?
