This weekend is the time we set aside to honor those women we call Mom. Throughout every stage of our lives Moms are there to diligently watch, nurture, encourage and listen. Mother’s serve a unique role in our society. Under appreciated and sometimes ridiculed, they are indispensable stalwarts for humankind. I encourage everyone this weekend to move past the Madison Avenue hype and, (if you are lucky enough to still be able to), look into the eyes of your mom, appreciate the love, tenderness, dedication and diligent hard work, it took to raise you to adulthood.
