As Altair Group’s receptionist/administrative assistant, you’ll be the first face our clients see when they enter our practice or first voice they hear when they call the office. The ideal candidate will be friendly, energetic and welcoming.
The skills and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
• Managing the front desk
• Answering all incoming calls (transferring calls, screening calls, taking messages)
• Efficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
• Communicate with clients via phone and email
• Assist with invoicing clients on a monthly basis
• Processing tax returns
• Scanning tax documents and other necessary paperwork
• Receive and sort daily mail
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Greet guests and ensure client/office meetings flow easily (ordering lunch, conference room prep, meeting materials, etc.)
• Manage the upkeep of the office
• Organizing and maintaining office supplies for the entire office; assisting with reorders
• Have a willingness to learn and contribute to the team

Job Requirements and Preferences:
Position Hours:
Part-time; 4-5 days a week, 5 hours a day (days/time has some flexibility)

Required Fields of Study:
None, familiarity with accounting preferred.
