Meet Jessica!
Jessica joined the team in February 2024 and immediately hit the ground running as a full
charge bookkeeper/associate.
Jessica relishes mastering new accounting tools and applying them to tackle unique client
needs. Her versatility and cross-domain expertise have already made a significant impact at
Walsh. Jessica excels under pressure, leveraging her sharp problem-solving skills and
meticulous attention to detail to deliver innovative and precise solutions.
Outside of work, Jessica works hard to maintain a well-rounded lifestyle. She enjoys staying
active through CrossFit and swimming, traveling to new destinations, and attending concerts
with family and friends. She also values personal growth and staying up to date on both
accounting trends and general news.
"A little progress each day adds up to big results,” is one of Jessica’s favorite quotes, serving as
a constant reminder to her that small, incremental steps forward can lead to significant
accomplishments over time.
Jessica holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Keystone College and is currently
pursuing a master of accountancy degree from the University of Oklahoma. Before joining
Walsh she worked as an accountant at a small family business.

Meet Caitlin!
Caitlin is one of the newest controllers on our team, having just joined us this past spring. She
comes to Walsh after time spent in the same role at manufacturing and construction
companies, as well as the lead accountant at a startup fintech accounting firm. Caitlin
completed her bachelor’s degree in accounting at Millersville University and holds a MBA from
Liberty University.
In her work, Caitlin values being able to help clients understand their books better. She strives to
help improve processes and loves being a detective when needed to research issues. Her
favorite projects involve new software and clean ups, for which we are incredibly thankful.
Caitlin enjoys playing games outside of work, including board games, card games, and a few
simple video games. She is also a big reader and is always game to catch up on various
television shows.
When Caitlin first started in public accounting, a mentor gave her a piece of advice that she
holds close to this day: check, check, check. She says it reminds her that everyone is human and
we can all make mistakes from time to time, but it is also within our own power to do what we
can to prevent those mistakes from happening in the first place.

Meet Courtney!
We welcomed Courtney to Walsh as a controller in February 2024. Prior to Walsh, Courtney
worked as an accountant for two other outsourced accounting firms. She has also spent time
managing the financial and human resources responsibilities at a digital marketing agency.
Courtney holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Southern New Hampshire
University. She is a first-generation college student and the first woman on her mother's side to
have an established career—super impressive.
Courtney loves to work on anything inventory-related. She also likes to help clients with
cost/benefit analysis, helping them understand what products or services are generating the
most revenue while also identifying areas to increase profitability.
When out of the office, Courtney enjoys creating new, healthy recipes, baking, yoga, taking day
trips to nearby cities, and trying new restaurants.

Meet Alex!
One of our newest full charge bookkeepers, Alex started at Walsh Accounting in early 2024. He
worked in a variety of other accounting positions prior to Walsh, as well as roles in IT support.
(Accounting + IT, the ultimate duo!)
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Salisbury University and he is currently
working towards his MBA from University of Maryland Global Campus. He also completed
certificates in data analytics and project management.
Data analysis and visualization are some of Alex’s favorite areas of focus; he enjoys helping
stakeholders gather important business insights from their accounting data.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two
children.
To quote one of Alex’s favorite sayings, “When it rains, all birds fly for shelter. But the eagle
alone avoids the rain by flying above the clouds.” We’re thankful to have you and your eagle eye
on our team, Alex!

Meet Stephanie!
Stephanie joined our team in the spring of 2024 as a full charge bookkeeper/associate. Prior to
Walsh, Stephanie was a disbursements coordinator (AP) at a law firm in Syracuse, NY. She holds
a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Point Park University.
Stephanie loves puzzles—and let’s face it, our jobs are often full of complex puzzles! She enjoys
getting to the bottom of discrepancies, and she gets ridiculously happy when everything she’s
working on zeros out. (Don’t we all?!)
When not solving accounting puzzles, Stephanie likes to read and craft. Glassware, sewing,
crocheting, card-making, wood-burning, scrapbooking—she’ll do it all! Stephanie also enjoys
spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Meet Heather!

Heather Cooper has been working as an Administrative Assistant at Walsh for the past year. Before joining the team, she worked as a Regional Operations Coordinator & Recruiting Teammate for DaVita Dialysis. Heather currently holds a Bachelor's of Science degree.

When asked what keeps her excited to come to work every day, she replied, “The dynamics of Walsh and how it's run makes all parts of my work enjoyable. Our wonderful team coupled with the work-life balance makes it a dynamite company that I absolutely love!” Heather gives 110% to tackle anything thrown her way—the definition of a team player.

Outside of work, she loves taking care of her family and serving her church. Growing up, she learned how to ride a motorcycle with her father when she was just 10 years old!

Meet Andrew!

Andrew Dize has been working as an Accounting Associate at Walsh for the past year and a half. Before joining the team, he worked in Public Accounting with a focus on tax prep, payroll processing, and audits for small businesses. Andrew currently holds a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting.

His favorite part of the job is being part of a team that's always willing to help each other! He enjoys interacting with customers, growing their relationships, and helping them out of stressful situations. For him, being able to help people in an impactful way is “without a doubt” the most rewarding aspect of the job. Never one to back down from a challenge, Andrew has also started expanding his professional skills into the technology space.

Outside of work, he considers himself a bit of a “homebody,” and enjoys reading and listening to podcasts. On the weekends, he makes sure to get outside to explore the city, enjoy great meals from local restaurants, and spend time with his friends and family. He's also musically inclined, singing in multiple choirs throughout the years.

His favorite character in media? Ted Lasso. “Even though he is a fictional character, I really draw inspiration from his ability to always be the guy that remains an optimist. There are so many great quotes from the show, but one of my favorites is, ‘Just listen to your gut, and on the way down to your gut, check in with your heart. Between those two things, they’ll let you know what’s what’.”
