It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Kevin King.

Kevin was a valued member of the Strategic Wealth Designers family and made a meaningful impact on both our team and the clients he served. He will be remembered for his dedication, kindness, and the relationships he built throughout his time with us.

Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, clients, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him during this difficult time.

We are grateful for the time we shared with him and the lasting impact he made.

He will be deeply missed.

106 years of joy, and unforgettable stories

When Paul nominated his mom Lucille for our One Wish, One SWD initiative, her request was simple: birthday cards. But what followed was so much more.

From standing in Salvation Army soup lines during the Great Depression to earning her very first brand new Bible in just 24 hours, Lucille’s story is one of strength, gratitude, and heart.

To honor her journey, we celebrated her with family, cards, and a special donation in her name, bringing her story full circle.

At 106, Lucille still starts every day with one powerful sentence: “Today is going to be a great day.”

And she means it.

Happy 106th birthday, Lucille, we’re so honored to celebrate you!

This month, the SWD Tampa office worked with the Children’s Home Network, as they sorted through donated clothes to help create a special place where kids in foster care can “shop” for outfits that are truly their own.

The Children’s home network is an organization that helps unlock the potential of at-risk children and families by providing compassionate and effective services that create opportunities for success.
