Happy National Son & Daughter Day

These 3 bring me immense joy and pride. I’m grateful today and every day for them.

They’ve all grown into successful adults, very capable young people.

How fortunate am I that they still call me Dad, still ask for advice, and share laughs and tears (and pay for their phones!)

Happy National Cousins Day! 💙

Some of life's best memories are made with cousins. From family gatherings and holidays to everyday adventures, cousins often become our first friends and lifelong companions.

This picture of the Secker cousins is from this past Memorial Day weekend (called Ribfest around the Secker house).

It has been so fun and heart-warming over the years watching my children having such great friendships and relationships with my sister’s and brother’s children. These 8 young people have supported each other through broken bones, celebrated Razorback wins (slightly more than the broken bones), danced together at weddings, and cried together at funerals. And they cherish all those memories and experiences together.

On National Cousins Day today, take a moment to reach out, reminisce, and let your cousins know how much they mean to you. 💙

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who’ve shaped our lives with wisdom, hard work, and love.
