Still constructive. Less forgiving.

The U.S. economy continues to grow, corporate earnings remain strong, and investment in areas like AI is substantial.

But inflation is still stubborn, the labor market has cooled, federal deficits remain unusually large, and markets are carrying high expectations.

Our outlook for the remainder of 2026 is constructive — just not complacent.

**One more item for the college checklist.**

Turning 18 is an important legal milestone—and one that can be easy to overlook in the rush to get ready for college.

Once a child is legally an adult, parents may no longer automatically have access to medical information or the authority to step in if something unexpected happens.

Before move-in day, families may want to discuss whether documents such as a **Health Care Proxy, HIPAA Authorization, and Power of Attorney** are appropriate.

And this isn’t only a reminder for parents. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other close family members are often part of helping a student get ready for this next chapter—and can help make sure the conversation happens.

A small amount of planning now can make things much easier if those documents are ever needed.

US Advisory Group can help clients and their families identify the planning questions to address and coordinate with qualified legal counsel as appropriate.

A financial plan is never really finished.

Families grow. Careers change. Parents age. Retirement gets closer. Tax laws evolve. Estate plans need updating. And sometimes the priorities that felt important five years ago simply aren’t the same today.

That’s the idea behind our **Family Continuity Review**.

It’s more than an annual conversation about investment performance. We step back and look at the complete picture—investments, retirement income, taxes, estate and legacy planning, insurance, major family changes, and the decisions that may be coming next.

When appropriate, that also means coordinating with a client’s attorney, CPA, and other advisors so the different pieces of the financial plan continue to work together.

Every review ultimately comes back to one question:

**What should we be thinking about next?**

Sometimes the answer is making a change. Sometimes it’s staying the course. Either way, financial planning should evolve as life does.

When should you call a financial advisor?

Sometimes there’s an obvious trigger: retirement, a business decision, an inheritance, a career change, a major purchase, or a change in your family.

Other times, nothing is “wrong.” Your financial life has simply become complicated enough that you want someone helping you organize it, pressure-test decisions, and keep the pieces working together.

And sometimes you just want a second opinion.

Those are all good reasons to start a conversation.

How do we manage money?

We start with research — but we don’t outsource our thinking.

Our Investment Committee evaluates research and ideas from a range of investment firms and portfolio managers, applies independent judgment, and builds portfolios around each client’s goals, time horizon, and tolerance for risk.

The process is disciplined: research, analysis, portfolio construction, ongoing due diligence, and regular review.

Markets change. Portfolios should evolve thoughtfully — not reactively.

What do we actually do?

At the center of our work is investment management — building and managing portfolios around each client’s long-term goals.

Around that, we help clients think through retirement, taxes, estate planning, insurance, cash flow, business decisions, major transitions, and the other financial questions that come up over time.

Sometimes that means doing the analysis ourselves. Sometimes it means coordinating with a client’s attorney, CPA, or another specialist.

The goal is simple: help clients organize the full financial picture and make thoughtful decisions as life changes.
