Northeast Planning Associates - James LeBlond

Northeast Planning Associates - James LeBlond Since 1997, James LeBlond has been advising clients on investment and insurance strategies. He was the only one of his firm sent to this event.

His focus started with individual clients, but he began to study strategies that would effectively help the needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs through retirement plans, succession planning and business continuity. In 2000, he began working in Massachusetts where he began adapting to new tax laws and income strategies, along with having gained deeper knowledge of business strategies t

hrough an Advanced Corporate Markets Forum in Denver, Colorado in June of '04. In September 2005, James realized his dreams of self-employment when he opened his own practice, named "LeBlond Financial". Realizing he wanted more out of his business model, James made a wise business decision to affiliate with Northeast Planning Associates (NPA) in May 2009, with a goal of maintaining his autonomy while adding the strength of a proven supporter for family-oriented Financial Professionals. He is proudly the third generation of his family to be self-employed, with his grandfather opening his own business back in 1946. James currently holds his Series 7 & Series 24 licenses with LPL Financial, and his Series 65 license with NPA in a variety of states, predominantly serving the ME, NH and North Shore of MA. James is a longtime volunteer in the La Kermesse Franco-American festival. He is also a former Police Commissioner for the Biddeford Police Department (1998-2001). James served a three year term on the Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce (2012-2014). He has been actively involved in several business networking groups in York and Cumberland County. James resides in Biddeford, Maine with his wife Tanya. He is a proud Daddy of five children. He enjoys playing golf and shooting hoops, and watching hockey, baseball and football. He is an avid New England sports fan, devoted to the four major teams of the area. He had played in the Southern Maine Men’s Baseball Association for several years, hoping to play again someday, but proudly devotes his time to family activities and working in the garden. (17-017)

Apparently Social Security will now not be able to keep all your current promises in 2032. That's within the next Presidential Term after President Trump, folks. Process this info as you will. I'm surprised Congress can even see Social Security with all the I.O.Us sticky noted on to that piggy bank.

Will you be prepared if you suddenly get a 22% reduction in your hard earned benefits? Isn't it time you have that talk?

The Social Security Administration has released a report with new projections as to when the trust funds that help pay benefits may be depleted.

I really want to believe in this market and that AI is the game changer. I use AI, I see its tremendous value when used appropriately (Looking at you military types dreaming of millions of Arnold Schwarzeneggers with guns!).

But this market has me feeling the Prince vibes and that this party is acting like it's 1999. Been there, done that calamity as a money manager, don't recommend buying the t-shirt.

Micron giving me that specific vibe today as it goes supersonic into the $1 Trillion Market Cap range.

Is this a bubble to you? It's worrisome to me. Remaining cautiously optimistic and properly diversified, though!

It's just my opinion, and I'm going out on a risky limb here...

But I don't think there's any real shot at a rate cut the rest of this year. For my fellow money warriors working hard for their clients, let us hope Mr. Warsh doesn't do anything irrational once he's officially appointed... like dropping rates anywhere near where the President suggests they should actually be.
