Coding Resolution Specialist

Responsible for identifying and determining root causes of claim denials. Leveraging coding knowledge and standard procedures to correct claims and track appeals through first, second and subsequent levels and assuring timely filing o appeals as required by payers.
Job Description:
Provides detailed understanding or aptitude for resolving denials based on ICD10 diagnosis codes, CPT procedural codes and HCPCS codes for professional and outpatient claims, and processing coding corrections based on medical record review.
Uses problem solving skills to diagnose and solve root coding mistakes and communicate findings that impact revenue cycle objectives.
Takes initiative to continuously learning all aspects of coding payment resolution specialist role to support progressive responsibility.
Required Qualifications:
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of professional / physician, diagnostic and procedural coding as normally obtained through a coding certificate program and a minimum of two (2) years of professional and outpatient coding experience.
Must be a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) to be considered.
Must have experience with National Correct Coding Initiative edits (NCCI), National Coverage Determinations (NCD), Local Coverage Determinations (LCD) and Outpatient coding guidelines for official coding and reporting.
Possesses detailed understanding of principles, methods and techniques related to compliant healthcare billing/collections.
Possesses expertise in medical terminology, disease processes, patient health record content and medical record coding process.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment and possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, dedication and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of Strategic Revenue Solutions.
Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they frequently change. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks / projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.

JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a Certified Medical Coder to join our team. We offer in-house training, but we are looking for a Medical Coding professional who can jump in with both feet from day one. We provide services to clients for a wide range of specialties. The successful individual will be committed to accurate medical coding for inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic tests, E&M visits and other medical services.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Analyze clinical records and assign correct CPT-4, ICD-10 and/or HCPCS codes, Modifiers, and quantities to the Medical Claim.
• Perform an array of coding and billing audits for multi-specialty clients.
• Use multiple Clearinghouses to transmit claims data and review claims EOBs.
• Communicate with physicians and their office staff regarding ambiguous or conflicting information.
• Research claim denials and rejections and effectively resolve or overcome these rejections/denials with corrected claims and appeals.
• Complete monthly On-Demand Webinars provided by CMS to ensure knowledge is complete and up to date.
• Keep informed and up to date with CMS and AMA CPT Guidelines and Policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Must have a minimum of 2 years coding experience in Pro-Fee Coding
• Certification - CPC, CCS, RHIT, CPB, CMCS OR CPMA required
• Firm knowledge of all ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of NCCI Edits
• A substantial understanding of CMS LCD and NCD Policies
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Computer skills (including Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365)

Medical Payment Posting Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
Medical Payment Posting Specialist is primarily responsible for accurate and timely processing of medical accounts receivable postings, processing payments for adjustment and reconciling daily postings for assigned clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Post manual/electronic ERA's and patient payments within 24-
48 hours.
• Reconcile payment batches per client on a daily basis
• Track payments, adjustments and transfer balances via excel
• Respond to queries from all external and internal parties
• Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA
guidelines/regulations.

Perform complex billing tasks involving account research and analysis, contract billing, refunds, adjustments and transfers

rejections from EOB / EOR and initiate appropriate action
