Earlier this month, the FMD team traded the office for the fairway at the Special Olympics Michigan golf tournament at Shepherd's Hollow Golf Club — and it was a morning none of us will forget.

A huge thank you to our team members who showed up to cheer on the athletes and be part of such a meaningful event: Mike Hawkins, Krista Quinn, Anthony Genova, Brianna McNamara, Sylvia Hensler, Stephen Bereseh, Jesslyn Molnar, and Jennifer Bushong.

Jennifer Bushong joined FMD in 2025 and brings more than 10 years of administrative support and customer service experience. With a background in the tax industry, she understands the fast pace of tax season and is dedicated to providing exceptional support to both our clients and team.

Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, playing disc golf, bowling with her family, and relaxing with her favorite TV shows and games.

August Tax Deadlines You Need To Know

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 | 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 - 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝟴/𝟭𝟬/𝟮𝟲

Employers: Report Social Security and Medicare taxes and income tax withholding for second quarter 2026 (Form 941) if all associated taxes due were deposited on time and in full.

Individuals: Report July tip income of $20 or more to employers (Form 4070).

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝟴/𝟭𝟳/𝟮𝟲

Employers: Deposit Social Security, Medicare and withheld income taxes for July if the monthly deposit rule applies.
