What a wonderful evening of art, conversation, and community!

We had the privilege of hosting an artist reception featuring the work of Minnesota artist and educator Marjorie Nilssen this week.

Marjorie has been creating art for more than 60 years, and something from her artist statement really stood out to me: her belief that play is an integral part of art making. Rather than always beginning with a plan, she allows exploration, curiosity, and the materials themselves to help guide the finished work.

That spirit is easy to see throughout her art.

It was especially meaningful to see members of our community enjoy Marjorie's work and hearing her story.

Thank you, Marjorie, for allowing us to showcase your art and celebrate a lifetime of creativity. And thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special!

Congratulations to my cousin Aya on receiving the Patriot Award from ESGR!

Aya has been incredibly supportive of my service in the Navy Reserve and my responsibilities as a Naval Officer. Balancing a civilian career, family, and military obligations isn't always easy, and having the support and understanding of people like her makes a tremendous difference.

I truly couldn't do what I do without her support!!!

Recently had the privilege of getting some photos taken by the CFP® Board as a practicing CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

A fun experience and definitely something I'm grateful to have been a part of.
