Last week, our team had the opportunity to spend time in Scottsdale, AZ at Baird's High Performing Teams Retreat. We enjoyed meaningful opportunities to learn from other teams, share ideas, and spend intentional time together as a team.

A special highlight of the trip was celebrating Colleen's 50th birthday! 🎉

“Travel is the best education anybody can have.”

On a recent trip to Amsterdam, Loren Snyder and Morgan Snyder saw the simple but powerful message in the window of a shop.

Travel challenges our assumptions, exposes us to different cultures and perspectives, and forces us to be curious. Those same qualities: curiosity, adaptability, perspective, and a willingness to learn, are just as valuable in our personal lives as they are in our careers.

The more we experience the world, the more we understand it and, ultimately, the better we understand ourselves.

Keep learning. Keep exploring. Keep traveling. 🌎✈️

Despite the heat, we had an amazing time connecting with our clients, colleagues, and community this past weekend at the IU Tailgate. Great conversations, great company, and plenty of Hoosier spirit made it a day to remember! 🙌🎉

Go big or go home!

Honestly, Loren was trying to go home, but Coleman had other thoughts…he went BIG! 🐻

The Snyder family enjoyed an evening at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. The rides 🎡, the animals 🐄, the food 🍦, and the games 🎈.

Some of those fair games, you are not supposed to win (the bottle ring toss…impossible, right?!) They literally dangle the huge prizes in front of the kids in temptation. Loren accepted he was handing them money 💵 for the kids’ entertainment. Until, “Coleman, you won!”

Fair games can be a lot like business successes. Social media “dangles” the “huge” prizes of cars 🚗 , money 💵 and success 💯out there. Most people never believe in themselves, and never play the game. Therefore, they never win the big prize.

In our experience, you SHOULD take strategic and calculated risks. Bet on yourself. Spend the “$20” on the game seeking the big prize. But if it doesn’t work out, have some reserves and a plan to fall back on.
