TreePhilly Free Yard Tree Giveaway - North Philly Regional

TreePhilly invites you to plant a tree in your yard! For information about all of our giveaway opportunities, visit TreePhilly.org. To sign up for a free tree planted between the sidewalk and the street, go HERE

The yard tree pick-up event will take place at Carousel House Recreation Center, East Fairmount Park, 4300 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131 on Saturday, April 13, 9AM-2PM.

Registration is open through Wednesday, April 10.

You may request up to two trees per planting address. To request a second tree, submit the form and re-fill it out again for the second tree. Trees are available while supplies last. Seeking more trees for a special project? Email [email protected].

Trees are available for Philadelphia residents only and must be planted in the ground (not in a pot) on private property in the city of Philadelphia. Residents are responsible for the care of the tree and may receive a maxiumum of 6 total trees per address. For more information on caring for your new tree, visit FAQ PAGE.

TreePhilly is a program of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

Pick which tree you would like! When choosing a tree, think about the size of your yard space, how much sun the tree will receive, whether your yard floods, and how much maintenance you are able to provide. Then, scroll down to learn more about the size and needs of all the available trees.
