Your friend is definitely wrong on this one. Getting a pre-approval for a mortgage is in everyone’s benefit. No one wants to waste anyone’s time. There many people involved in a transaction and getting to a closing. Let’s make sure upfront the numbers work for you, not one or two weeks into the transaction.

I know what your friend told you, but maybe you should understand the benefits of a Homeowners Association. If there is a community you are interested in, give me a call, text or email and let me explain what’s included in the HOA in that community.

I know what your friend told you, but are you prepared to lose the house? Interest rates are higher than the they were 4-5 years ago, but have you looked to see really what has been the average interest rate over the last 30 years? Not too much higher than today. You can always refinance if the rates come down in the next couple of years. So why wait?

I know what your friend told you, but maybe we need to dig a little deeper. Days on market can mean a lot of things..How much work is needed, old roof, old kitchen, old bathrooms, backyard, what does the house back up to, what does the neighbors homes look like, how far is the beach, how far are the highways, food stores, airport.
So we can see different things can make people feel differently about a house. Maybe it was waiting for you. 😍

Are Homeowner Association fees worth their value? I would say yes. If you are thinking about moving and are interested in a particular community, let me do some research for you. Email me or message me the community you are thinking of buying in, and let me find out about the HOA for you.
