On Thursday, Debbie and Lisa had the pleasure of attending the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce's July Membership Breakfast, proudly sponsored by West Boca Medical Center.

The morning featured an informative presentation from Jerad Hanion, CEO of West Boca Medical Center, who shared exciting updates on the hospital's continued growth and the Palm Beach Health Network's ongoing investment in expanding access to high-quality emergency and specialty care throughout Palm Beach County.

Guests also heard from Dr. Michael Halista, Invasive-Interventional Cardiologist, who introduced West Boca Medical Center's new state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, now open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This important addition will provide patients with timely access to minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart conditions, including heart attacks, arrhythmias, coronary artery disease, and heart valve disorders.

It was a pleasure for our KSDTAdvisors team to attend the final CityLead Boca session of the season alongside our colleagues and special guest, Michelle DePalma, CPA attending on behalf of the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Foundation.

The luncheon provided another opportunity to connect with who are committed to making a positive impact throughout our community. One of the themes that resonated throughout the discussion was that leadership is most effective when it is rooted in purpose, strengthened through meaningful relationships, and demonstrated through consistent action. The conversation challenged all of us to think intentionally about how we lead, serve, and influence others both professionally and personally.

This week, Gigi Reyes, had the opportunity to attend the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce’s Smart Talk for Women program and came away with a powerful reminder about the importance of authentic connection.

One of her biggest takeaways was that while we all may face internal roadblocks when building relationships, meaningful connections become possible when we create environments rooted in vulnerability, empathy, and freedom from judgment.

This lesson extends far beyond networking. At KSDTAdvisors, we know that the strongest client relationships are built on trust, active listening, and genuine understanding. When clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable sharing their challenges and goals, we are better equipped to provide meaningful guidance and help them achieve success.

We were honored to hear from Dr. Tarah Popp, Co-Medical Director of the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital's Fetal Cardiology Program, who shared her personal and professional journey through medical school, residency, motherhood, and leadership. Tax season is behind us, and our Boca office is back at it on the pickleball courts! 🏓☀️

After months of deadlines, client deliverables, and long hours, it was great to step away from our desks, enjoy some friendly competition, and spend time together outside of the office.

At KSDT, we know that strong teams are built not only through hard work, but also through connection, camaraderie, and a little fun along the way.

Still reflecting on the incredible experience of Vienna’s Riches, through the eyes of Sigmund Haffner presented by The Symphonia at The Studio at Mizner Park.

The orchestra performed beautifully, but what truly elevated the evening was the creativity and artistry woven throughout the performance. The Maestro’s narration, delivered in period costume and dialect, transformed the concert into something immersive, theatrical, educational, and deeply engaging all at once.

Experiencing the music through the historical lens of Vienna and its composers added such richness and perspective. It felt less like attending a concert and more like stepping into another era.

Having the opportunity to serve as The Symphonia's accounting partner, alongside the leadership of The Symphonia, KSDT already sees the passion and dedication that goes into creating meaningful experiences for the community. Watching that vision come to life on stage was incredibly special!

It was truly a concert not to be missed! Bravo to everyone involved for continuing to elevate the arts and enrich our community through music and creativity.🎶
