Somebody asked me the other day what the difference is between a CPA who just "does your taxes" and one who actually advises you.
Fair question.
Compliance is making sure you file correctly and on time.
The paperwork side.
Advisory is the conversation before that.
➡️Should you be an S-corp yet?
➡️Are you setting aside enough for next year?
➡️Is there a deduction you're leaving on the table?
We do both, but the advisory side is where we actually help you keep more of what you earn.
If all your CPA does is file your return once a year, you're missing half the value.
What's one money question you wish your accountant asked you? 👇
