Boston Tax Help Coalition

Boston Tax Help Coalition A group of nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations that advance the economic independence of working individuals and families.

From January to April, 30 community-based tax sites hosted by Coalition partners provide free tax preparation and asset building services to eligible households. Services and programs are provided in 8 languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian-Creole, Vietnamese, Somali, Arabic, and Cape Verdan-Creole. Additionally, the Coalition is committed to full inclusion for taxpayers with disabilities.

Having trouble with your taxes? You can get free help!

The Greater Boston Legal Services is hosting a Problem Resolution Day with the IRS and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. The event is on Thursday, September 18, from 12:30 to 6:00 PM at the Roslindale Branch Library.

Get help with...
• Letters or notices from the IRS or DOR
• Audits, appeals, or collection problems
• Tax issues if you cannot pay for a lawyer
• Problems paying your tax bill
