CEO/Founder Randy Perry and Founder Brian Petrovich took the ideas they discussed while hiking the Teton Mountains and formed a boutique tax preparation company that primarily serviced clients who travel frequently for work. To solve this problem, Randy and Brian came up with new business models and concepts they wanted to incorporate into tax software. The idea began to take shape when Randy met Erich Von Hinken and Brandon True. Shortly after meeting, the team was selected to participate in Boomtown, a technology accelerator based in Boulder, CO. During that time, Eric and Brandon helped turn some of those same ideas into highly advanced software, while building in new and exciting ideas of their own.
