• Inflation Refund Credit:
Many New York residents are eligible for one-time credit based on their 2023 income. For example, single filers with an AGI of $75,000 or less could receive a **$200** credit.

• Enhanced Child Credit: The Empire State Child Credit has increased. For 2025, it's $1,000** per child under four and **$330 for children aged 4-16 (increasing to $500 in 2026).

• Be Scam Smart: The NYS Tax Department will never text, email, or use social media to ask for personal or payment information regarding refund checks. Always go through official channels.
