Hi all, to all business owners who have businesses registered with any state which includes sole proprietors, LLC’s and corporations this is an reminder that you have to file your beneficial owners information or (BOI) with the financial crimes enforcement network or (fcen). If your business was established before tax year 2024 you have until Jan 1st 2025 to file or face a $591.00 fine for each day that it’s not filed after the 1st. For business that opened in 2024 you have 90 days after the start date to file the BOI. Here is the link https://boiefiling.fincen.gov/boir/html. If you need assistance give us a call.
