📜Become a Treasure Protector at the Museum's Summer Family Movie Nights!

🎬Join us for our family summer movie night series! The evening promises a screening of “National Treasure,” an exciting scavenger hunt on the second floor, popcorn, and a chance to win special prizes!

2️⃣ nights, 2️⃣ movies -
Summer Family Movie Night #1 is Thursdays, June 25
Summer Family Movie Night #2 is Thursday July 30.
Come to one or to both!

🍿The evening will feature a screening of the film “National Treasure” on the 3rd floor. For refreshments, we will provide popcorn and a drink that will surely tantalize your taste buds. The movie presentation on the 3rd floor will take a brief intermission about halfway through to commence the clue hunt, guiding them through the museum collecting clues to find our treasures. Each clue hunt will feature a unique assortment of items to discover; thus, families who attend both movie nights will enjoy different experiences each time. At the conclusion of the evening, participants will receive certificates recognizing their successful treasure protector training.

Price: $25 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) and $10 for individual guests. Discounts are available for museum members.

🐣✨ The Egg Has Been Found! ✨🐣

Congratulations to Emily, Joseph and Gavin Harper!

Here's their adventure: "We initially thought of the Dallas corridor of Main Street, since that is where the original Brown home is. The railroad crossing at the depot divided Main Street into North and South, but he had no luck anywhere around there. We ended up thinking Haikey Creek Park due to the gateway sign, but didn't know exactly where until today's clue. Luckily, the Museum Broken Arrow has an online Allotment Map, so we cross-referenced 18 North and Brown, finding Lou Brown, and then we just went walking."

Egg-cellent detective work Harper family!

I am incredibly thankful to have been selected to be a part of the Leadership Broken Arrow Class of 2026, a program that truly invests in and engages with the Broken Arrow community. It has been such a rewarding experience learning more about the people, organizations, and leaders who are working every day to make our city stronger and more connected.

I am also so proud of this year’s class and the work we accomplished together through our class project, Common Grounds. Watching this group come together with a shared purpose, passion, and commitment to serving others has been inspiring. The impact of this project is going to continue forward thanks to one of the amazing local nonprofit organizations. Be on the lookout for next year’s event.

If you are someone who wants to grow personally and professionally while building meaningful connections in the community, I encourage you to jump at the opportunity to participate in Leadership Broken Arrow. It is truly a unique experience that challenges, encourages, and equips you to lead in new ways.
