We are sad to announce that on February 20, shortly after 11pm, Elaine was restored to wholeness in the arms of her Savior. Arrangements have not been made at this time, but we will update when a date has been set.
First, we want to say thank you for your concern and your prayers. They mean so much to us. Please continue to keep the Chung & Farmer families in your prayers as well as the Parakletos “family.”
You may know that Elaine was initially diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Brain cancer/tumor in May of 2019. She recovered quickly from the initial surgery and went on to have a second tumor removed in November 2019. The second surgery was more difficult and Elaine no longer came into the office to visit with us as frequently. She was, of course, the center of attention at our Christmas Party.
When Elaine’s tumor came back a third time in late December/ early January, she made the difficult decision not to go back for a third riskier surgery. The odds simply were not in her favor.
This is a busy time of the year for us, but more importantly this is an emotional topic for the staff. Out of courtesy please pray in lieu of questions at this time. The family asks that you direct flowers and cards to the office or the funeral home.
We hope you continue in your prayers for peace and comfort for all of us in the coming days.
