For a long time, we are taught to navigate our money in secret, or worse, to leave the big decisions to someone else. But when life shifts, having clear visibility over your money is how you step into true freedom.

Real financial empowerment happens when wisdom and community come together. One of our recent members spent thirty years in a marriage where she had zero visibility or control over her income, investments, or retirement. When she finally chose to step into her power, she did not walk that path alone. She moved into her dream condo, redirected her income into her own accounts, and leaned on a financial planner and divorce coach to guide her forward.

You do not have to figure out this next chapter in isolation. Inside The Empowered Sisterhood, we hold space for women navigating major life transitions who are ready to speak openly about wealth, protect what they have built, and move forward with absolute clarity and joy.

If you are standing at a crossroads right now and feeling ready for a safe, supportive space to grow, send me a direct message with a bit of your story. Tell me where you are at today, and let us talk about how we can walk alongside you.

Sometimes, we wobble before we have the strength and balance to hold steady.

And sometimes, we fall.

The people we surround ourselves with can make all the difference. The right people don’t expect us to get it right every time. They remind us that falling isn’t failing, cheer for us as we get back up, and help us believe we’re capable of trying again.

Strength doesn’t come from never losing your balance. It comes from knowing you don’t have to find it alone.

Inflation doesn't destroy value evenly. It transfers it. And the direction it moves depends on how your particular life is arranged, not on how hard you work or how careful you are.

Which means there's a real answer to "is this helping me or hurting me." Most people are on both sides at once and have never looked at which side they're net on.

In this episode I walk through the four places to check your own position:

- Your debt, and whether it's fixed or variable
- Your cash, and what rate it actually earns
- Your income, and whether it adjusts
- Your assets, and whether they're dollars or things

Bring a question. I answer them live.

Sometimes you don’t need someone to fix it.

You need a place where you can say what’s really going on. You need women who will listen without judgment, remind you that you’re not alone, and support you as you find your own way forward.

That’s what we’re creating inside the Empowered Sisterhood: honest conversations, meaningful connection, and a community of women navigating life, money, and change together.

Because being understood can be powerful all by itself. 💚

Your money plan should leave room to breathe.

It should help you feel more grounded, not keep you in a constant state of pressure. It should reflect what matters to you, make space for the life you want to enjoy, and give you confidence in the decisions ahead.

Because financial wellness isn’t only about building more. It’s also about creating more clarity, freedom, and peace.

Inside the Empowered Sisterhood, we’re having honest conversations about money and helping women move forward with support, not shame.

Come take a breath with us. 💚

Your cereal box got smaller. Your favorite product got worse. And your raise did not cover it. Three price increases, and not one of them showed up as a price increase.

In episode 3 of Inflation, Decoded, Leah Hadley, AFC, CDFA breaks down the sneaky ways inflation actually reaches your life, and the one number almost nobody checks. Wages grew 3.2% over the past year. Prices grew 3.4%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says real average hourly earnings fell 0.2% from
July 2025 to July 2026. If you got a raise and still feel behind, that is arithmetic, not a discipline problem.

What you will learn:
- What shrinkflation is, and why the CPI does catch it (the popular claim is wrong)
- The one number on the shelf tag that makes comparison honest, and the catch that ruins it
- Skimpflation, the harder one, and why this gap is real
- How to check whether a product quietly got cheaper to make
- The one line of math that tells you if your raise was actually a raise
- Which of the three deserves your attention, and why it is the opposite of what the internet says

A financial goal is not a test of your worth.

If you fall behind, change direction, or realize the goal no longer fits your life, you haven’t failed, you’ve learned something.

It's ok to adjust the plan without abandoning yourself.

Telling your kid you'd pay for something is not a legally binding contract.

I hear versions of this constantly. The travel team, the car at 16, the annual trip. Parents keep writing the check because they made the promise back when the income looked different.

The income changed. The promise never got renegotiated.

You're allowed to reopen it. "This year looks different, here's what we can do instead" teaches your kid more about money than the original yes ever did.

What's one expense you're keeping only because you said you would?

"Inflation falls to 3.5%" does not mean prices went down. Four real headlines, taken apart line by line, plus four questions for reading any money news in ninety seconds.

Are you creating a morning routine that sets you up for an amazing day, or are you starting each morning by default?

There is no one-size-fits-all routine. Maybe yours includes movement, journaling, a quiet cup of coffee, or simply a few minutes before everyone else needs you.

If you have a morning routine you love, share it in the comments. Those of us still trying to find our rhythm could use the inspiration. ☀️
