Greetings to all of our business clients!👋
This special notification is for our clients that are owners of LLC & other businesses.

In 2021, Congress passed the Corporate Transparency Act. This law creates a new beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirement as part of the U.S. government's efforts to make it harder for criminals and/or false owners to hide or benefit from their ill-gotten gains through shell companies or other opaque ownership structures and avoid taxation.
While the BOI reporting has been active since the beginning of this year, not everyone has been aware of it.

‼️This filing is absolutely mandatory!
✅The good news?
👉No fee for submitting your BOI reporting to FinCEN, and it is a one-time filing, unless something changes with your business, such as owners or address.
❎The bad news?
👉Your filing is due by the end of the year, or you risk penalties.

Our intention is to make you aware, and urge you to file this report ASAP! Even if you make a mistake, it can be resubmitted. Please follow this link to file https://boiefiling.fincen.gov/boir/html

Hello Clients! As a reminder, our internal deadline for drop offs and mail ins is March 15 to hit the tax filing deadline and avoid an extension. If you are planning to drop your tax docs off, please do so ASAP. You do not need to make an appointment to drop off tax docs.

If you have a pre-booked in person appointment, this does NOT APPLY to you. This is only for drop offs and mail in clients.

Any drop offs AFTER March 15 are not guaranteed to be filed by April 18 and may go on extension (and yes there is a $50 fee). Those with extension requests should consider sending in estimated tax payments to avoid underpayment penalties and interest if you think you will owe money.
