As you know, the state of Tennessee extended the date to file your 2025 taxes if you owe, till June 8th 2026.People who filed and paid by April 15th may receive a check in the mail, or direct deposit for the penalty they paid when filing. If ou need to file an extension please call my office.

Today is April 14th. I would remind you tomorrow April 15th is the last day to file IF YOU OWE, to pay what you owe without paying intrest and penalty, or to file an extension and not receive a penalty , however, intrest will be added starting April 16th. IF YOU ARE RECEIVING A REFUND, there is no need to file an extension, you have 3 years to file, and we will be open on Tuesday and Fridays from 12-5. Till IRS shuts efile down, normally in November. Please call the office to file an extension, or you can make a appointment to file after April 15th to file.

Im not sure why people are hearing I have left Brownsville and have a business in Jackson, I have been at this office for 20 years, and before that up on the square with Tatums Tax......Haywood is where I was raised and I assure you I'm still at the same place I've always been, and where I will always be Lord willing.

We will not open tomorrow due to weather, but Lord willing, we will be open Thursday January 29th from 11 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and regular hours starting next week.
