Taxes by Catina Accountant specializing in tax prep for military abroad. Helping our military communities abroad w/ taxes has become my calling.

I served as a voluntary site coordinator for the VITA program for 5 seasons (2@RAF Lakenheath, England, & 3@Yokota AB, Japan). I have been preparing taxes as part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for 6 out of the past 7 tax seasons at Yokota AB and RAF Lakenheath. I was also a Site Coordinator for 2 seasons at RAF Lakenheath and 3 seasons at Yokota AB. I also prepared taxes for 4 years while living in Pittsburgh, PA. I have assisted in tax preparation for several states and also assisted many military (and military-adjacent) families in applying for ITINs. I have decided to open up my own tax preparation business starting with the 2025 Tax Season (preparing returns for 2024 taxes). I have completed/passed my SEE exams for my Enrolled Agent Certification and should be receiving my enrollment card in the next few weeks.
