Happy 2023 y’all!! I hope this year finds everyone happy, healthy, and thriving!! Our family is doing wonderfully and still enjoying our chapters in the hills of TN ❤️.

Im asking that all documents be sent via email or snail mail. Please don’t send some to email, some by messenger, and some by text. Send ALL documents the same way. Documents will NOT be accepted via cell phone; For your protection and mine.

The IRS is still sending out money approved by Congress in the COVID-19 relief bill from March.

If you deffered paying tax on a 401K distribution over three years and you also receive a letter from the Dept of Revenue stating you owe more than what you were told....DO NOT pay it!! Indiana made some last minute changes that needs to be handled by your tax preparer. If you receive a letter, please call us right away. This is not just for our clients so please share to get the word out.

FYI....we knew not to amend but worry no more. The IRS will automatically adjust your return to reflect the non taxable unemployment.

Once again, tax season has been extended. You now have until May 17th to file your taxes AND/OR pay any taxes that you may owe. Although some of you may need that additional time to pay if you owe, I do recommend going ahead and getting your taxes filed. Don't put off what you can get done today!!
