Clients, tax season is upon us! As you start receiving your tax documents and finish up your year end books, here are some things to keep in mind.

We won’t start preparing your tax return until we have all of the tax documents needed, please bring in/upload all tax documents at once so we can start on it as soon as possible.

Farmers due 3/2/26: We need ALL of your tax documents by 2/16/26 to ensure we can get the return done by the deadline. If you’re waiting on one form from a coop, we will do everything we can to get it done since those forms go out late sometimes.

Partnerships/S-Corps due 3/16/26: We need ALL tax documents by 2/16/26 to ensure we can get your return done by the deadline.

Individuals/Trusts/Estates/Corps due 4/16/26: We need ALL tax documents by 3/16/26 to ensure we can get your return done by the deadline.

If we don’t have ALL tax documents by these dates, we cannot guarantee your return will be completed by the deadline. We ask that you respect our time, as we respect yours.

Extensions are not a bad thing. If you need to file an extension, call, email, or come into the office to request one. Filing an extension is not an extension to pay, it is only an extension to file. If you believe you will owe tax and didn’t make any estimates, we advise that you make a payment with your extension.
