Business growth should be supported by more than increased sales.

Before expanding, business owners should evaluate cash flow stability, operating margins, financial reserves, and the cost of additional capacity.

A company can generate impressive revenue and still struggle to finance its next stage of growth.

The question isn’t simply whether your business can grow. It’s whether your financial structure can sustain that growth.

October is a month filled with observances that deserve recognition, conversations that need to happen, and causes that deserve our support.

From breast cancer and domestic violence awareness to mental wellness, financial planning, and women-owned businesses, this month reminds us that awareness matters when we turn it into action.

At Anointed & Appointed Accounting Services, we believe being informed is part of being empowered. Whether you’re strengthening your financial future, supporting a cause, or learning something that helps someone else, your participation matters.

As we continue through October, let’s make room to acknowledge the causes, people, and conversations that often deserve more attention.

Which October observance holds meaning for you? Tell us in the comments. 💚

Deadlines have a way of sneaking up on us, especially when life gets busy.
But when it comes to taxes, ignoring the deadline doesn't make the responsibility disappear.
If you haven't filed, take action. If you're unsure whether your return was submitted successfully, confirm its status. If you cannot meet the deadline, understand the potential consequences and what steps you should take next.
A delayed decision can create a bigger problem. An informed decision gives you a place to start.
Make the call. Check the status. Take the next step.

Tax complications don’t always come from major financial mistakes. Sometimes, they develop from overlooked details and decisions made without enough information.
Review your records, confirm your payment obligations, maintain clear documentation, and verify that expenses meet the applicable requirements before claiming them.
Tax rules depend on individual circumstances, so avoid relying on assumptions or generalized advice.
An organized tax strategy starts with accurate information.

Tax preparation documents what happened. Tax planning helps you evaluate what can still be done.
Income changes, business investments, deductions, retirement contributions, and financial decisions throughout the year can influence your overall tax position.
Waiting until filing season to review these factors may limit your options and leave important questions unanswered.
A proactive review creates an opportunity to identify concerns, evaluate available strategies, and prepare for upcoming obligations.
The strongest tax strategy is built throughout the year, not rushed at the deadline.

Growth without protection can create exposure that goes unnoticed until circumstances change.
A financial security planning engagement provides an opportunity to step back, evaluate your current position, and identify areas that may require greater attention.
Depending on your needs, that review may include:
Financial vulnerabilities and potential exposure
Emergency reserves and cash flow preparedness
Business financial controls and operational continuity
Insurance and risk-management considerations
Priorities for strengthening your overall financial position
Every financial situation is different. The first step is understanding where you stand and determining which areas deserve attention.
Anointed Accounting works with individuals and small businesses to support more informed financial decisions.

Financial stability isn’t measured by what you earn alone. It’s also measured by how prepared you are to withstand disruption.
For individuals, that means evaluating emergency reserves, insurance coverage, debt obligations, and the financial impact of an unexpected change in income.
For business owners, it means assessing cash flow vulnerabilities, operational dependencies, financial controls, and the safeguards supporting business continuity.
The objective is not to eliminate every risk. It’s to identify where you may be exposed and make informed decisions before those vulnerabilities become costly.
Financial protection should be a deliberate strategy, not a reaction to a crisis.

🚨 DON’T LET OCTOBER 15 SNEAK UP ON YOU.

If you filed a tax extension, this is your reminder that October 15, 2026 is the deadline to file your federal tax return.

Whether you’re preparing your return yourself, already working with a tax professional, planning to mail your return, or still trying to find someone to help you — now is the time to get moving.

💻 Filing online? Get it submitted by October 15.

📬 Mailing your return? Give yourself enough time to get it properly mailed and postmarked.

📄 Using a tax professional? Make sure they have all of the information and documents needed to complete your return.

📲 Still looking for assistance? Don’t wait until the deadline to start looking.

And remember: an extension gives you additional time to file — it does not automatically give you additional time to pay any taxes owed.

Share this with someone who filed an extension. They may have October 15 marked on their calendar… or they may have completely forgotten. 😂

If you still need tax assistance, Anointed Accounting is available to help where capacity allows.

Building wealth without a plan to protect it can leave important gaps.

A Wealth Protection & Planning Session gives you an opportunity to step back and evaluate the bigger financial picture.

Where are you today?
What are you building?
What needs protection?
What needs to change?
What needs to be planned for next?

Because wealth planning shouldn’t only answer “How do I grow?”

It should also answer “How do I preserve what I grow?”
