CAUTION POST!!! For people getting IRS letters. Please come to a CPA to get help with this. Getting advice from outside of the professional realm (cough cough FB) can get you into a heap of tax trouble.

Going to the IRS by yourself is like getting into a legal fight without a lawyer or fixing your car without a mechanic. It's possible to do, but very risky!

My firm has been seeing issues this year where:

-the big box tax software/brands are making major mistakes on returns that the taxpayer may not be aware of
-fraudsters are sending fake IRS letters using the power of AI
