After some long soul searching, I have decided I need to raise all of my prices across the board for tax preparation. Starting in 2027, all prices will increase between 10-20%.

For 12 years now, clients have been telling me how "cheap" I deliver their tax returns. Word of mouth has caused us to grow to a level where I am unable to sustain the level of service and quality that I pride White Income Tax for.

I know the price increase will cause some folks to get other bids or go other places, and that is completely understandable. We take our responsibility to transparency seriously, which is why I am making this announcement so far in advance of next tax season.

I actually would like current clients to reach out to other places, because I believe we are still one of the best deals in the region.

Our level of service and price are the best in eastern KY. If you would like me to give you an exact quote for the upcoming tax year, please email me and I will reply with the expected increase in your bill.

The IRS’s sending of about 1.4 million CP53E notices sparked concerns about errors and fraud. A release from the Taxpayer Advocate Service urged taxpayers to verify their accounts directly on IRS.gov.

For next filing season, we will be streamlining how we receive documents. You will be able to pick the method you deliver them to us. However, once you pick a method, we will only be accepting ALL of your documents by that method for that year.

Example: if you drop off your papers in our office, but then later realize you have forgotten a form, you must also drop it off in the office. We won't be accepting it by text or email.

If you choose email, then all docs will come to us by email.

If you choose text, all docs will come by text.

This is an important change so none of your documents get lost in the shuffle.

April 15th is right around the corner. As much as I love all of our clients, my brain is ready for a few weeks break. If you plan on using us this year, I need your papers in the office no later than 4 PM on April 15th.

As we head into the April 15th deadline, a friendly reminder that our Campton office closes on April 15th at 4 PM. So make plans to drop off your tax papers before that date.

At this late time, you will be put on extension. I will continue to feverishly work after April 15th to get everyone filed.
