Sheppard Mosher Independent Wealth Management Our mission is to get to know and understand your needs, wants, and long-term goals. Jason J. Mark L. Mark is a fifth generation native of Ontario County.

Mosher is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and serves clients as an Investment Advisor Representative. His educational background includes Cayuga Community College and The University at Buffalo. Inspired by a childhood coach who was in the business, Jason began his career in financial services in 1998 and co-founded Sheppard Mosher in 2005. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securiti

es licenses along with insurance licenses in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire and Montana. Jason is active in the community, currently serving as a Town Councilman. He is a past board member of the Rotary Club of Geneva and is a life-long resident of Central New York. He shares his home with his wife of 22 years, Melissa, a certified social worker at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and their two children Jason and Braedon. Sheppard is a Registered Financial Consultant, RFC® and serves clients as an Investment Advisor Representative. After graduating college, Mark had the good fortune of being mentored by a senior advisor before eventually co-founding his own independent practice with Jason in 2005. Mark holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and insurance licenses in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts and New York. He currently serves as a strong community advocate including his 30 year membership in the Rotary Club of Canandaigua volunteering as President in 2001 and is a two time Paul Harris Award Recipient for service. Mark enjoys spending time with his clients and family. One of his favorite avocations is hiking the high peaks in the Adirondacks with his wife of 32 years, Robin, a PhD chemist at Xerox and their two sons.
