Our dogs, Bruno & Gia, changed our lives.

We know, we’ve heard it before. “They’re just animals.”

They aren’t to us. Far from it.

Countless times, our pets have been a much needed smile or laugh. A much needed reminder of the simple things. And most important of all, quiet comfort and unconditional love when we’ve needed it most.

They have hearts. They have souls. They don’t care who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve done.

They can’t speak for themselves and can’t advocate for themselves. So we will.

They’re so much more than “just” animals. So many of them enter homes with hopeful spirits filled with love, thinking they’ll be there forever, just for circumstances far out of their control to sweep them up. The work that Animal Charity of Ohio does ensures these displaced pets are taken care of and treated with the love, respect and dignity they deserve.

They now need our help. They are currently battling funding issues to continue their services and are in serious need of generous hearts.

While we appreciate the shoutout, we didn't donate for recognition. Instead, our hope is to rally our friends, fellow local businesses and community advocates to join us in supporting Animal Charity in their time of need.

Do you know what your income sources are and how they will be taxed?

Chances are, you won't be funding your retirement from just one place. January gets all the attention when it comes to financial goals.

But the completion of June marks a more important checkpoint.

By the middle of the year, life has usually changed in some way. Income may look different. Summer spending is picking up. Travel plans are on the calendar. And the financial goals you had at the start of the year may not be getting the same attention they once were.
