The Ohio State Medical Board quietly approved three new medical ma*****na qualifying conditions and forwarded two more for approval later this year.

The board’s medical ma*****na committee in February determined that three conditions were already covered by the existing qualification of pain that is chronic and severe or intractable.

Those conditions are: arthritis, chronic migraines and complex regional pain syndrome.

Ohioans with arthritis and chronic migraines can now be recommended medical ma*****na, a state medical board committee quietly decided.
